AMCHAM’s Medical Device Committee is comprised of MedTech companies that are dedicated towards the advancement of medical technology through access to innovation and improvement in patient care. The companies in this space are not only getting latest technologies to patients in India, but also have set up R&D centres and manufacturing units with localization. As a new initiative of the committee, to showcase the capabilities in India, they invited government officials to visit these R&D centres. Mr. N. Yuvraj, Joint Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India, with his team of officials, were the first delegation and visited Boston Scientific and Stryker offices on December 3rd.
