A small group of members from AMCHAM’s Medical Devices Committee met on 6th June, 2018 under the Chairmanship of Mr. Prabal Chakraborty, Chairman, AMCHAM Medical Devices Committee and Vice President and MD, Boston Scientific India. The group brainstormed on the agenda items which could be taken through AMCHAM platform in the coming year. Some of the agenda items discussed during the meeting included continued international outreach to neighboring countries like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, quarterly engagement with U.S. Embassy officials, reaching out to states, interactive sessions with key government departments, etc. The meeting was attended by members from Boston Scientific, India Medtronic, 3M India, BD India and ZimmerBiomet. From AMCHAM, Ms. Madhvi Kataria, Deputy Director General and Mr. Gaurav Mendiratta attended the meeting.
