On April 21st, AMCHAM collaborated with Gerson Lehrman Group India Pvt. Ltd. to organize a webinar on ‘Credit Rating in the Age of COVID-19.’ The session commenced with welcome remarks and an introduction of the speaker by Ms. Surabhi Wahal, Regional Director – Western Region, AMCHAM. This was followed by an address by Ms. Neha Chhabria, Gerson Lehrman Group India Pvt. Ltd. who set the stage.

Mr. David Munves, GLG Council Member, President of DWM Consulting and former Managing Director at Moody’s Analytics, began his keynote address by sharing an overview of credit ratings and touched upon the internal cultures and key principles that guide rating analysts and rating agencies. He then shed his expert insights on ratings of key sectors, the long view in a time of near-term collapse and ratings in the Indian context. A Q&A session followed. The session concluded with closing remarks and vote of thanks by Ms. Surabhi Wahal.
