AMCHAM’s U.S.-India Travel & Tourism Working Group hosted a session on ‘Return to the U.S. – What You Need to Know About Business Travel’ on May 13th virtually. In a post COVID world, business travel has resumed with U.S. companies in India sending employees for business to the U.S. The session focused on insights from airlines (Qatar Airways) and hotel companies (Marriott and Hyatt) on what companies need to know about policies and processes from service providers of business travel. The session highlighted safety standards, COVID protocols and changes made by service providers regarding travel to the U.S. The session was moderated by Ms. Sheema Vohra, Chairperson – U.S.-India Travel & Tourism Working Group, AMCHAM and Managing Director, Brand USA with the following speakers: Mr. Karthik Viswanathan, Senior Manager Indian Sub-continent, Qatar Airways, Mr. Anup Taneja, Regional Director – Global Sales, India & Sub-continent and Mr. Vikas Choudhery, Director- India and South West Asia, Hyatt Sales Force.
