AMCHAM hosted the first meeting of AMCHAM’s recently launched U.S.-India Travel & Tourism Working Group on April 24th, 2019 at The American Center, New Delhi. The focus of the newly formed working group would be to leverage AMCHAM’s strength of corporate members and focus on the growth of travel from India into the USA. The working group’s government Co-Chair is Ms. Aileen Nandi, Minister Counsellor for Commercial Affairs, U.S. Embassy and the industry Co-Chair is Ms. Sheema Vohra, Managing Director, Brand USA. Members of the working group include Marriott International, Flight Centre Travel Group and Brand USA. The group expects to expand its member base of American and non-American companies with a focus on growing travel to the states.
