The U.S. India Travel & Tourism Working Group was formed to focus on the growth of tourism and leisure travel
from India. The objective is to create an expert group to enhance U.S.-India tourism cooperation. The working group
aims to facilitate important sectoral partnerships, conversation and actions to address issues of mutual interest – some of which are laid out in the objectives below. This expert group is a platform for Indian and U.S. companies to
collaborate in this great opportunity. Objectives include:

• A strong platform for engagement Review and prioritize activities and specific initiatives identified by members and support their progress
• Organize regular meetings to ensure continuity of dialogue
• Escalate/fast track member issues to concerned authorities for resolution
