On May 23^rd, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) hosted U.S.-India 5G and Next Generation Networks Workshop in New Delhi. AMCHAM India was a supporting partner. During the workshop, participants and notable speakers from the United States, India, and industry came together to discuss subjects including ensuring the security and resilience of 5G infrastructure, regulatory and legal frameworks in 5G development, collaboration and innovation for accelerating 5G networks, and the impact of the internet of things (IoT) on telecommunications, vertical domains, and consumers. The workshop also involved valuable contributions from Indian government stakeholders associated with AMCHAM, who provided insights on 5G testbeds and the future of IoT innovation.
