The American Chamber of Commerce in India’s Karnataka Chapter, in association with Scarborough Law L.L.C., hosted a breakfast session entitled ‘Trumped! The Changing Face of Business Immigration in the Age of Trump’ on 26th July in Bangalore. The session was conducted by Ms. Stephanie Scarborough, a leading immigration attorney with more than 10 years’ experience in U.S. and Canada immigration. The focus of the session was on how immigration has changed in the Trump era and what to expect in the coming months.

The discussion centered around recent trends in H-1B and L-1 adjudication patterns, immigration compliance for employers and streamlining a company’s internal immigration process to reduce costs and facilitate H-1B and L1 transfers and employment immigration issues with current U.S. immigration policies. The meeting was attended by senior professionals heading the HR and immigration departments of top U.S. companies.
