AMAMCHAM’s Taxation Tariff & Regulatory Affairs Committee met under the leadership of Mr. Sandeep Chaufla, Chairman – Taxation Tariff & Regulatory Affairs Committee, AMCHAM and Partner, Corporate & International Tax, PwC, in New Delhi on Oct 11th. Highlighting the many changes in taxation and regulations over the past few months, as well as the government’s efforts in leapfrogging into a wider use of technology in taxation, the meeting discussed three important areas of interest that has been generated in the taxation domain. Broad contours of the ‘Faceless Assessments Scheme,’ updates and developments in the GST arena and major recent regulatory changes in Indi, were the main points of discussion at the meeting.
