Ms. Nisha is the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs. She is the department’s lead on bilateral U.S. India relationship including business, commercial and political affairs. Members met with Ms. Nisha at the Pearl Room, Taj Krishna over breakfast and discussed the ease of doing business in India and any issues faced by American companies in India.

Ms. Biswal asked what they could address in their discussion with the government to enable ease of business in practicality. The start-up boom in India was also discussed. The T-hub in Hyderabad is one of the examples of encouragement to entrepreneurs.
