AMCHAM’s Medical Technology Working Group held a meeting on April 21st over video call under the leadership of Ms. Aileen Nandi, Honorary USG Chairperson – Healthcare Committee, AMHCAM and Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs, U.S. Embassy and Ms. Meenakshi Nevatia, Chairperson – Medical Technology Working Group, AMCHAM and Managing Director, Stryker India. During the meeting, members had an interactive session with Dr. Preetha Rajaraman, Health Attaché, U.S. Embassy.

Discussion was based on updates on COVID-19, current situation, future and the impact on industry and ongoing efforts. Members deliberated points and would prepare representations on health cess reversal, regulations of medical Devices and quality control order on select products. The meeting concluded with closing remarks from AMCHAM thanking members for their valuable inputs.
