On November 19th, AMCHAM’s Karnataka Chapter, in partnership with IMA, hosted the monthly edition of the CEO breakfast morning with guest speaker Ms. Doreen Remmen, CMA, CSCA, CAE, Senior Vice President Operations & Chief Financial Officer, IMA, on the topic of risk management and internal controls. The session focused on recognizing the importance of using a recognized control framework to assess the effectiveness of a company’s control over financial reporting and defining the roles and responsibilities within an organization related to internal control and the importance of aligned accountability. The session was attended by companies like Accenture, Aryaka Networks, PwC, Swagelok, Hewlett Packard and others.
