On February 13th, AMCHAM’s Medical Device Committee organized an interactive session Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Director, NPPA on IPDMS 2.0 concerns pertaining to uploading of Form VI in IPDMS 2.0 and policy issues and immediate intervention of the national drug pricing regulator. Members addressed concerns they faced such as price to retailers and exemption from MRP for capital equipment, among others. AMCHAM submitted a representation seeking an extension of the date of submission of IPDMS 2.0 till the technical issues were resolved. More than 15 committee members participated in the meeting.
