On Friday, 5th April 2019, AMCHAM India organized an Interactive Roundtable on ‘Cyber Intelligence – at the Forefront of Cyber Tech.’ The session began with a welcome address and setting of stage by Ms. Ursula Thakkar, Chairperson – Western Region, AMCHAM and Managing Director, Lubrizol Advanced Materials India Pvt. Ltd. Ms. Thakkar thanked Consul General Kagan for his ongoing support and partnership to AMCHAM India. This was followed by a special address by Consul General Edgard D. Kagan, U.S. Consulate General Mumbai. Ms. Surabhi Wahal, Regional Director – Western Region, AMCHAM India introduced the panel of experts and invited them to share their views and experiences on the topic.

Through interactive presentations and discussions the speakers, Mr. Neel Bhatia, Director – Asia Region – Strategic Industry Collaboration, Platform Security Division, Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Deepak Maheshwari, Director – Government Affairs, India, ASEAN and China, Symantec Software Solutions Private Ltd. and Mr. Kartik Shinde, Partner – Africa, India & Middle East (AIM) Advisory Services, EY India, shared their expertise on emerging cyber security trends in the digital world, cyber security threat landscape in India and cyber financial frauds respectively. An engaging discussion followed. The event concluded with closing remarks and a vote of thanks by Mr. Hitesh Sharma, Vice Chairperson – Western Region, AMCHAM and Partner, National Head of Life Science Industry, EY India, who thanked CG Kagan, the expert speakers, participants, Bank of America for hosting the event and AMCHAM India for the insightful and engaging platform of learning and sharing best practices.
