On August 20th, AMCHAM’s Supply Chain and Logistics Committee organized a learning and sharing session on ‘Digital Supply Chain – A Force Multiplier.’ The session began with opening remarks by Ms. Surabhi Wahal, Regional Director – Western Region, AMCHAM India. Through his welcome address, Mr. Kumar Kandaswami, Chairman – Supply Chain and Logistics Committee, AMCHAM and Partner, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP, introduced the session’s subject and speakers.

Through an insightful and informative presentation supported by case studies the expert speakers for the session, Mr. Guruprasad Math, Portfolio Development – Process Industries, Siemens Industry Software (India) Private Limited and Mr. Rakesh Pandey, Industry Product Portfolio Development & Digital Strategy Leader, Siemens Industry Software (India) Private Limited, highlighted market trends, changing supply chain dynamics, key pillars of digitalization in manufacturing and Siemens’ solutions to realize the full value for digitalization.

The presentation was followed by an engaging Q&A session. The session ended with concluding remarks and a vote of thanks by Mr. Praveen Gosain, Co-Chairman – Supply Chain and Logistics Committee, AMCHAM and Director (Supply Chain India), Corning Technologies India Private Limited.
