AMCHAM’s Hyderabad Chapter organized a session on ‘Decoding the Budget 2021-2022’ with Ernst & Young on February 2nd virtually. Ms. Naveen Agarwal and Aisha Hussaini touched upon various aspects of the budget like reduction of time limit for completing assessment, reduction in time limit for filing belated/revised tax returns, faceless proceedings before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) and indirect taxes. The Ernst & Young experts also fielded questions from participants.
