A meeting of the LGBTQ Chapter of AMCHAM’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee was held on 8th November 2019 in Mumbai. The meeting commenced with opening remarks by Ms. Surabhi Wahal, Regional Director – Western Region, AMCHAM, followed by a welcome address by Mr. Sudhir Jain, Chapter Leader – LGBTQ Chapter of the D&I Committee and Managing Director, Chief Risk Officer, Bank of America N.A. As part of the agenda, members planned the course of action and created working groups for forthcoming events and initiatives of the chapter. Members present also shared success stories of LGBTQ inclusion and sensitization initiatives undertaken at their respective organizations.
