A meeting of the Gender Diversity Chapter of AMCHAM’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee was held on January 20th virtually. The meeting commenced with opening remarks by Ms. Surabhi Wahal, Regional Director – Western Region, AMCHAM. This was followed by a welcome address and remarks by Ms. Kaku Nakhate, Vice Chair, AMCHAM, Chairperson – Diversity & Inclusion Committee, AMCHAM and President & Country Head, India, Bank of America, N.A. and Consul General David J. Ranz, U.S. Consulate General Mumbai and Honorary Co-Chairperson, Diversity & Inclusion Committee, AMCHAM. Committee members introduced themselves and shared brief insights on the D&I initiatives undertaken within their respective organizations as well as expressed their interests to be partners and catalysts in D&I initiatives. As part of the agenda, members also actively ideated on forthcoming initiatives for the year 2021.
