AMCHAM met with Ms. Vandana Aggarwal, Economic Advisor, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Mr. Angshumali Rastogi, Director, Ministry of Civil Aviation, in New Delhi on May 21st, 2018 at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan. The topic of discussion inclusion and support of U.S. companies in skills development in the aviation sector. The core group led by the Chairman for the AMCHAM’s Aviation Committee, Mr. Palash Roy Chowdhury, Pratt & Whitney, discussed proposals on American companies to upgrade the ecosystem at identified aerotropolis and adopting airports for development under RCS especially in north eastern states to ensure working cohesively towards building up the whole ecosystem.
