On July 9th, the Anti-Corruption & FCPA Compliance Committee organized its core committee meeting focused upon trainings and gifts and entertainment policies. Ms. Komple Sharma, Manager, AMCHAM, welcomed and introduced participants. Mr. Gaurav Ajmani, Chairman – Anti-Corruption & FCPA Compliance Committee, AMCHAM and Associate General Counsel: Business Conduct & Ethics, Amazon Seller Services (P) Ltd. moderated the meeting. Ms. Bhawna A. Ranganadhan, Co-chairperson – Anti-Corruption & FCPA Compliance Committee, AMCHAM and Vice President, Legal and Compliance, Genpact was present. As a prerequisite to the meeting, a survey on trainings and gifts and entertainment policy was undertaken by members. The survey results were discussed during the meeting and members shared their best practices around the same. Dr. Simrat Sohale, Associate Director, Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) gave an overview of the first healthcare focused meeting scheduled for early August. The meeting concluded with closing remarks from the Chair, Co-Chair and Secretariat, who also announced the dates for the committee’s annual signature event.
