Members of AmCham delegation, led by Mr. Prabal Chakraborty, Vice President & Managing Director, Boston Scientific India Pvt. Ltd., called on the President of Sri Lanka, H.E. Mr. Maithripala Sirisena, on 10th September 2015 in Colombo. Hon’ble President said that the focus areas for Sri Lanka were agriculture, food processing, dairy farming, IT, tourism, healthcare and infrastructure. He invited U.S. companies to invest in these areas and share their expertise. Sri Lanka offered a hassle free and transparent business environment for investors. Mr. Chakraborty said that the U.S. companies were looking to forging stronger business ties with Sri Lanka.
