Ms. Gunjan Krishna, IAS, Commissioner for Industrial Development and Director of Industries & Commerce, Government of Karnataka, had an engaging and productive discussion with AMCHAM members on November 20th in Bengaluru. The meeting focused on Karnataka’s draft Industrial Policy 2024-2029, which emphasizes growth drivers, economic value addition, employment generation, and emerging technologies. Aligned with the vision of enhancing ease of doing business, fostering public-private partnerships, and strengthening logistics infrastructure, the policy includes a pioneering single-window digital portal to streamline processes. Ms. Krishna encouraged AMCHAM’s collaboration in refining this initiative. She also highlighted the Karnataka Investors Meet scheduled for February 12-14, 2025, inviting AMCHAM to actively participate, showcasing diverse avenues of engagement.
