AMCHAM’s Tax, Tariff and Regulatory Affairs Committee made a representation to Mr. Sushil Chandra, Chairman, Central Board of Direct Taxes, seeking clarification related to final guidelines for establishing ‘Place of Effective Management ‘(POEM) in India. Similar letters were also addressed to Mr. Arbind Modi, Member (Legislation), Central Board of Direct Taxes and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Bhoot, Joint Secretary (TPL-II), Central Board of Direct Taxes.
