Dun & Bradstreet, in partnership with AMCHAM, hosted the Power of Data Summit in Bengaluru on October 26th. The summit commenced with remarks by Mr. Avinash Gupta, National Executive Board Member, AMCHAM and MD & CEO, India, Dun & Bradstreet. The sessions were themed ‘Transforming Business with Generative AI,’ ‘Decoding the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023,’ ‘Building Modern Business with Effective Data Strategy/Data Challenges & Emerging Services Model,’ and ‘Holy Grail of Monetization.’ Mr. Darshan H.V., (IAS), Director Electronics, IT, BT and Managing Director, Karnataka Innovation &Technology Society, Government of Karnataka addressed the audience and shared the government’s vision on data and how they would encourage partnership with companies to work with them in Karnataka. Mr. N.S. Boseraju, Minister of Minor Irrigation, Science and Technology sent a note to members attending the summit expressing his support and cooperation. The event culminated with the launch of Dun & Bradstreet report ‘Unleashing the Power of Data.’ Representatives from the following member companies participated: IBM, Mphasis, Wesco Anixter, Grant Thornton, Oracle and HP.
