AMCHAM met with Lt Gen M.U. Nair, National Cybersecurity Coordinator, National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), Government of India and other senior NSCS officials on December 3rd in New Delhi to discuss cyber security collaboration and critical infrastructure protection. Industry leaders from FTI Consulting, Honeywell, Intel and Visa shared perspectives on strengthening India’s cyber security framework through advanced technologies, capacity building, and proactive security measures. The discussions highlighted U.S.-India partnership opportunities in cyber security and set the foundation for AMCHAM’s upcoming conference on ‘Cyber Security of Critical Infrastructures of India: U.S.-India Partnership 2025’ scheduled for January 28th, 2025. The meeting emphasized knowledge sharing between U.S. companies and the Government of India to enhance cyber resilience across critical sectors.
