On 10th October, AMCHAM submitted a response to the Draft Personal Data Protection Bill 2018 to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) as per inputs received by members. The recommendations were aimed to make regulatory regime for data protection more effective while ensuring it does not impact the adoption of evolving technologies and business models.
