On October 3rd, the Anti-Corruption & FCPA Compliance Core Committee met at the Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages office in Gurugram. Ms. Komple Sharma, Manager, AMCHAM, welcomed participants and shared an overview of the recently conducted FCPA Masterclass 2019. Opening remarks were given by Ms. Bhawna A. Ranganadhan, Co-Chairperson – Anti-Corruption & FCPA Compliance Committee, AMCHAM and Vice President, Legal and Compliance, Genpact. The committee shared their feedback on the masterclass and suggested themes for the next edition. Members discussed their best practices in designing compliance programs with a focus on vendor compliance management, which is a common problem area across sectors. Members brainstormed on various possible topics for future webinars under the ambit of the committee. It was suggested to draft a paper on generic best practices followed by member companies. The closing remarks and vote of thanks were given by Ms. Bhawna A. Ranganadhan.
