Submission on Regulatory Data Protection – Pharmaceutical Sector

AMCHAM shared a note on regulatory data protection in the pharmaceutical sector to Mr. Darpan Jain, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. The submission outlined that a well-designed regulatory data protection framework would significantly strengthen India’s pharmaceutical and life sciences ecosystem by encouraging greater R&D investment, expanding clinical research, supporting global capability centers (GCCs), and increasing high-quality foreign direct investment.
