Members of AMCHAM’s CSR Committee met virtually on July 23rd to brainstorm content for the annual CSR Conference. Ms. Valerie Swope, Program Coordinator, AMCHAM, welcomed participants. Ms. Rohini Kamath, Program Manager, India Cash Grant Program, Cisco, in her opening remarks, shared that technology, when paired with thoughtful, scalable social initiatives, becomes a powerful equalizer and challenged all to move towards impact-driven partnerships. Members deliberated upon potential session themes such as skilling, AI, healthcare, water security and the social stock exchange, for the CSR conference (to be held in September). A brief overview of results on the recently conducted CSR survey ‘Defining Your Social Impact Priorities’ was shared. Members discussed ongoing projects in the northeast. The committee decided to aim for quarterly roundtables with a thematic focus and objective of collaboration. More than 35 representatives from member organizations participated in the meeting.
