AMCHAM’s Economic Affairs Committee held a meeting virtually on March 30^th under the leadership of Mr. Abhishek Tomar, Chairman – Economic Affairs Committee, AMCHAM and Chief Data Officer, S&P Global Market Intelligence, S&P Capital IQ (India) Pvt. Ltd. The committee reviewed its activities over the past six months and discussed the roadmap for 2026–27, with a focus on the Thought Leadership Lecture Series. It was decided that the series will cover three key themes: 1) Resilience in Volatility: Energy Security, Inflation, and Fiscal Prudence in a Fragile World; 2) Geopolitics as Economics: Navigating Growth, Trade, and Security in a Fragmenting World; and 3) The AI Economy and the New Drivers of Global Growth: Productivity, Capital, and Inequality. A set of prospective keynote speakers aligned with these themes has also been identified. The meeting witnessed an engaging and constructive discussion among members, with valuable suggestions shared for future initiatives and enhanced member engagement.
