AMCHAM’s Eastern Region convened an all members meeting on March 25^th virtually to review 2025-26 activities and discuss the 2026-27 program roadmap, during which members strongly emphasized prioritizing in-person, high-impact engagements over virtual formats and expressed limited interest in NextGen sessions due to availability constraints. Instead, they recommended focused workshops in IT and AI with high-profile speakers, with willingness to support such initiatives financially. Members also highlighted the importance of collaborating with premier academic institutions such as IIMs and IITs, agreed to proactively support membership outreach and expansion, and suggested leveraging participation from AMCHAM members across other regions to enhance engagement in Kolkata, while noting that breakfast meetings have limited effectiveness. The inputs will guide the Secretariat in shaping a more targeted and impactful program calendar for 2026-27.
