AMCHAM’s Infrastructure & Smart Cities Committee held a meeting on March 16th virtually to discuss AMCHAM’s strategy on data centers. Ms Geeta Poduval, Director, AMCHAM welcomed members and Mr. Rajan Aiyer, Chairman – Tamil Nadu Chapter, AMCHAM, Chairman – Infrastructure & Smart Cities Committee, AMCHAM and Managing Director, Trimble India, opened the discussion. Members deliberated upon central guidelines for data centers, state data center policies, enabling data center infrastructure, and energy and cooling solutions. Representatives from 3M, AMD, Carrier, Cisco, Cushman & Wakefield, Emerson, FTI Consulting, Honeywell, Intel, Microsoft, Rockwell Automation, Salesforce, Trimble, and Turner, participated.
