A roundtable discussion on boosting trade and investment between the United States and Eastern India, was held on December 16th at the U.S Consulate in Kolkata. The discussion followed a series of consultations held by Ms. Kathy Giles-Diaz, Consul General, U.S Consulate General Kolkata, with leading industry bodies, including AMCHAM, to gain deeper insights into the prospects, potential, and priority sectors of Eastern India. The roundtable aimed to build on these engagements and facilitate a focused dialogue with key stakeholders on strengthening bilateral commercial ties, identifying new investment opportunities, and advancing mutually beneficial economic collaboration in the region.
