AMCHAM’s Tamil Nadu Chapter organized a webinar on ‘Navigating India’s New Labour Codes’ with EY on December 10th. The session featured speakers Ms. Shalini Jain, Partner – People Advisory Services, EY and Ms. Vijayalakshmi PG, Director, People Advisory Services, EY and provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the new labour codes and their implications for organizations. The session covered how the codes reshape employer obligations, employee entitlements, and workplace practices. It also offered valuable insights into the impact on compensation structures, hiring models, and HR policies. Additionally, the webinar presented a practical roadmap for transition, focusing on organizational readiness, smooth implementation, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Approximately 36 participants attended the webinar.
