AMCHAM’s Eastern Region held an all member meeting virtually on November 17th to review plans for a multi-session panel discussion series on the impact of artificial intelligence across major industry sectors. Seven thematic areas were proposed, covering energy and environmental sustainability, manufacturing and supply chain, finance and fintech, digital transformation, professional services, life sciences, and human resources. Moderators and potential panelists were identified, with flexibility for further refinement. The series aims to offer strategic intelligence and practical insights for members, with each session producing an outcome report summarizing key recommendations. Action points included: developing counter-intuitive and thought-provoking themes to enhance engagement, finalizing session structures in consultation with moderators, confirming speakers and specific discussion topics, inviting external experts recommended by moderators, and encouraging members to share suggestions. The series will begin with roundtable one on ‘AI in Energy, Environment and Sustainability’ in January 2026.
