Mr. Dhritiman Biswas, Director, Government Relations – South Asia, Cargill, Ms. Ruchira Saini, Head Advocacy & Industry Affairs, India & South Asia , Corteva Agriscience and Ms. Komple Sharma, Director, AMCHAM sensitised Mr. Thorburn about AMCHAM, in particular the activities of the Agriculture & Food Processing Committee. Pertinent themes discussed during the meeting included women in agriculture, climate smart agricultural practices, AgTech, sustainability, impact of U.S. agriculture and food companies on Indian farmers and employment generation.
