The Supply Chain & Logistics Committee held a meeting on January 19th virtually under the leadership of Mr. Praveen Gosain, Chairman – Supply Chain & Logistics Committee, AMCHAM and Sr. Director – Supply Chain & Business Transformation, Corning Technologies India. The committee engaged in a thoughtful discussion concerning the purpose, vision, and mission, ultimately deciding to incorporate sustainability and supply chain security into the mission statement. The committee addressed the selection of a theme for the upcoming year. Members will receive a list of suggested themes for further consideration and finalization. The meeting also touched upon the planning of a proposed in-person signature event slated for Q2/Q3 in Delhi or Mumbai. Additionally, an on-site factory visit may be organized in conjunction with the event, and discussions were initiated regarding the potential release of a white paper during it. The outlined next steps involve finalizing the mission and themes, confirming the keynote speaker’s availability, detailed planning for the signature event, coordinating the on-site factory visit, and preparing for the release of the white paper.
