Hyderabad Chapter – Hyderabad
Telangana has emerged as one of India’s most forward-looking and business-friendly states, driven by a clear policy vision, responsive governance, and a strong innovation ecosystem. Since its formation, the state has consistently prioritized ease of doing business, transparency, and speed of execution. The state’s capital, Hyderabad, has evolved into a global technology and innovation hub, supported by world-class digital and physical infrastructure, a deep talent pool, and a collaborative public–private ecosystem. Telangana’s focus on skilling, innovation, and R&D — through institutions, incubators, and partnerships with global enterprises — has enabled companies to move beyond cost arbitrage to high-value work in areas such as artificial intelligence, data engineering, cybersecurity, product development, and life sciences research.
These strengths have made Telangana a preferred destination for U.S. global capability centers (GCCs). U.S.-based enterprises benefit from the state’s stable policy environment, availability of high-quality technical and managerial talent, and strong alignment with global business practices. The government’s proactive engagement with industry, openness to co-creating policy, and emphasis on long-term partnerships have allowed GCCs to scale rapidly and play strategic roles within their global organizations. As GCCs increasingly evolve into centers of innovation and enterprise leadership, Telangana’s forward-looking policies and business conduciveness position it as a natural partner in their growth journey.
