AMCHAM’s Karnataka Chapter, in association with Jon M Huntsman School of Business, Utah State university, organized an interaction for 18 undergraduate students and 2 visiting faculty members on 13th March 2019 in Bengaluru. The objective of the interaction was to give the students an understanding of the evolving tech landscape in India, specifically Karnataka. AMCHAM members Mr. Naresh Shah, President, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Mr. Amit Sharma, Chief Operating Officer, IBM and Mr. Sethu Seetharaman, Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, Mphasis, addressed the gathering.

This was followed by a site visit to Mphasis Bengaluru for a more in-depth understanding about their work in the innovations ecosystem, R&D and the applications of technology in CSR. The students interacted with Dr. Jai Ganesh, Head – Next Lab, Mphasis, Dr. Meenu Bhambhani, Head – CSR, Mphasis and Ms. Deepa Nagaraj, Head – Sparkle Innovation Ecosystem and Communications, Mphasis.
