AMCHAM’s Karnataka Chapter organized a meeting with Mr. Priyank Kharge, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and Information Technology and Bio Technology (IT & BT), Government of Karnataka and Dr. E.V. Ramana Reddy IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Electronics ITBT and Development Commissioner, Government of Karnataka on July 3rd in Bengaluru. Discussions were focused on how the Government of Karnataka would partner with industry on emerging technologies and skilling of the workforce to aid in talent acceleration, working on brand “Beyond Bengaluru” and creation of Centers of Excellence. There was an exchange of ideas on various ways in which the state government and U.S. industry could join together to address these points towards creating a more productive and responsive partnership.
