AMCHAM met Lt. General (Dr.) Rajesh Pant, National Cyber Security Coordinator, Prime Minister’s Office, NSCS, Government of India, Mr. G Narendranath, Joint Secretary, National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) and Ms. Ashima Chaturvedi, Director, National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) on September 15th at the NSCS Office, Sardar Patel Bhawan, New Delhi. Ms. Ranjana Khanna, Director General CEO, AMCHAM and members from AMCHAM’s Cyber Security Committee, Mr. Tabrez Ahmad, Group Director Government Affairs & Public Policy, Dell Technologies and Mr. Prasanto Roy, Senior Director, Strategic Communications, FTI Consulting, joined the meeting. The meeting was organized with the objective to share industry recommendations and concerns in creating a potential cyber security framework in India. AMCHAM emphasized the importance of harmonization of standards, amendments in the IT Act, emerging tech security and cyber skilling. Lt General Pant appreciated the submissions and assured his support and guidance to AMCHAM in joint collaborations and future engagements.
