Director General (Acquisition) and Special Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, Mr. Apurva Chandra, and his team of technical managers interacted with U.S. industry association members over a virtual interface on June 16th. The discussions were based on the submissions to the Government of India on the industry comments sought on the DraftDPP2020. The U.S. industry comments were deliberated upon section by section and discussed at length over the hour and a half long interactive session organized jointly by AMCHAM, USIBC and USISPF. Over 40 industry leaders were present.
