Mr. Frank Talluto spoke of the importance of sports and how it helps in honing skills both on the field and professionally. Mr. C.V. Anand, IPS, in his keynote address, emphasized the significance of sports in an individual’s overall growth, highlighting how it cultivates essential leadership qualities. He discussed how the field teaches teamwork, resilience, accountability, and the ability to make quick decisions for the betterment of the team. Drawing from his own experience as a versatile athlete, he shared how he gravitated toward cricket and continues to play today. He encouraged the audience to stay engaged in sports, emphasizing the importance of accepting both victories and defeats gracefully. He also touched on the unity and networking fostered through sports, noting that it not only keeps individuals physically fit but also mentally sharp.

During the fireside chat on ‘Safety in a Digital and Connected World: Challenges for Policing’ with Mr. Jayesh Sanghvi, Partner, EY, Mr. Anand underscored the importance of vigilance and awareness about cyber fraud, digital arrests, and various scams. He shared real-life examples of educated individuals falling victim to such frauds. He advised the audience to enable double verification on their transactions to ensure digital security.
